Anish joined MxV Rail in 2015. Despite training in aerospace, and job offers in academia, he chose a career in railroad engineering. One of his proudest moments was presenting with the team at the Birmingham, UK, World Congress/WCRR. The satisfaction of seeing his expertise help drive innovation brought Anish to the rail industry, and he’s never looked back.

Jack Nichols, Senior Test Controller, has been a part of MxV Rail since 1999 when he joined the team as a locomotive engineer. Most recently, Jack led the intricate logistics of moving both MxV Rail and clients’ rail vehicles smoothly to the new facility. All assets arrived safely and on-time. As Senior Test Controller, Jack plays an important role in helping clients improve safety and performance, and he enjoys being part of the team that reports some of the first “hands-on” evaluations of new products.

Aaron Howard was promoted to Operations Manager – Track & Infrastructure after starting as a SERTC logistics technician. With the larger challenge of MxV Rail’s track and guideway operations, Aaron has leveraged his extensive experience in welding, diesel machine maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and railroading. In fact, one of his first jobs was welding for Royal Gorge Route Railroad.

MxV Rail Principal Investigator II, MaryClara Jones, played a pivotal role in the success of MxV Rail’s transition, overseeing the design and build of MxV’s facilities both at PuebloPlex and at the Pueblo Industrial Park. MaryClara, or “MC” as her teammates know her, joined us as an engineering intern in 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a masters’ degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Colorado State University-Pueblo. She is currently working on an MBA from Colorado State University-Pueblo.
